Once again Town started strong and after just the 3rd minute found themselves one goal up with a good finish from Lee Jones.
Town doubled their lead on the 4th minute with a shot at goal that was helped into the net by Old Bradwell’s Fraser Nicol.
After the second goal Old Bradwell upped the pace and a shot on goal was cleared off the line by skipper Pete Geyton, however the linesman said he thought it had crossed the line so the goal stood.
Half Time 2-1
Second half was pretty quiet from both teams, but in the 76th minute one of the Bradwell boys went for a header knee high and was kicked in the face by Jim Carmichael who was trying to clear the ball.
The referee for some bizarre reason awarded the penalty and to top it off sent Scot Morrison off for questioning his decision.
The ball was put away by Pete Maxey to bring the scores level.
Town will take a lot from this game today but the players and staff of Bletchley Town feel a little hard done by, as in our opinion the Referee had a bad day and as a result cost Town 2 valuable points.
However hats of to the Bradwell boys who never gave up the battle.
