Bletchley Town showed today how good they can be with an absolute cracking display from every player on the pitch.
They dominated from the off with some good passing football and when Kent had the ball Town closed them down and never let them settle into any rhythm.
The first goal was scored on the 4th minute when Stevie Keane broke through the defence to find himself one on one with the Kent keeper, he lobbed him and as the ball was just going wide Lee Jones knocked the ball in at the post.
Half Time 0-1
Second half Kent upped their game even more and tried to put Town under pressure from the start, but once again the Town defence could not be broke down and at times it was starting to take its toll on Kent, who by this time decided to play the more physical game of kick the players as well as the ball.
An injury late on saw Scott Morrison being subbed of for Luke Withers (Back from injury) and still Town kept plugging away and soon got their reward When Lee Jones had a shot at goal saved by the keeper only to rebound to Stevie who slotted the ball home in the 85th minute.
The third Town goal was scored in the 86th minute when Stevie once again broke through the defence an smashed the ball home to secure the 1st win for Town this season and more important 3 vital points to lift us off the bottom of the table.
Full Time 0-3
